Zonal Flow Eh.....short wave well.....alright close to home

This coming Thursday looks to bring a close to home chase in NE CO ....prolly just GVTH's but hey severity is possible with chances of gustanadoes and hail....will keep my eyes peeled...
significant advection all the way up to 500 mb gives me optimism.....That pocket of upper 40 to 50's near Cheyenne, WY gives me another reason to be hopeful....

Equipment status

I have now a new helmet and goggles provided by my good friend Nick Vrudny.
Am currently in the process of mounting a laptop stand, and working to get an anemometer/dewpoint/temperature equipment because I want to see what it actually is doing underneath wall clouds before tornado initiation....so that's all for now....

Is keeping an on Tuesday.....

I'm wrestling with the models & since I have nothing else to do....I am merely tempted just to go for a drive down to Elk City and wait near the triple point setting up....till than I'll update final decision.....soon
I'm just looking forward to nxt weekend's setup in actuality....so riding the highway 83 road up and down the TORNADO ALLEY sounds good except 83 isn't made of dirt....imagine storm chasing in wagons those horses and pressure difference would not go well....I'd be kicked in the face after I got bucked off because you have to ride the horse to deploy in front of the tornado, tell me that wouldn't suck!

Cold Front Choker! wow....that escalated quickly

You can see the line on radar which is the cold front choking what seemed to be a big Mod Risk day to zilch....wait further

And so it begins.....Mod Risk.....

Slight Risk looks to be upgraded!

Looking through the models I'm stunned this is only slight risk....If tomorrow is not tornado potential with PDS than I really need to reevaluate what I'm looking at...
Wichita Falls, TX, wow....ummmm u might see something big coming your way say 5PM with Tornado warnings popping all around....if this discrete cell produces it looks to me the large hail reports hopefully will pound Wichita Falls.....my target points for the intercept tornado is near the center of county road 1954 in between Holliday, TX & Highway 281.
County road 172 near Bluegrove is another target this being 700mb to MSLP showing lots of moisture pocketed...so the potential of a dangerous long living tornado is high....
Keeping in mind this will be a slow moving cell given the models don't rapidly change till 06Z
