Tuesday gives slight chance of GVTH

if moisture-willing (during the day) there is a chance for garden variety thunderstorms in the northeast plains of Colorado springing up from the grand ole Rockies....
More convinced with a chance of lightning storm setting up again as like May 7th with a pocket of unreleased moisture willing to convect given the strengthening of mini shortwave....Fort Collins into the Cheyenne ridge looks to have some weak 500 mb advection to give another small
lightning show Tuesday night....this moisture if any falls will setup up for Weds "See Text" say possible cells but only strong winds/hail possibilities.....now looking at 850mb there is a nice surface boundary giving a tease to a possible chance for landspouts on Weds around 4-6PM along I 76 running along a line into Nebraska....the best pocket of moisture on the border of WY/NE into parts Northeastern CO
mostly this shows another day of GVTH's given the lack of a lot of ingredients in shear but hey "it's weather"

Slight Risk for May 12th

If I was going out, I would aim my tornado target risk area for the border CO/NE north of Julesburg, CO or Oklahoma panhandle near Boise City as far as moisture and lizard's tongues are concerned.....say 5 or 6pm

Thursday May 7th....

It seems my forecast for dynamical forcing ended up coming together with the upper level moisture in place and nighttime warm air advection.....some storms fired near the front range up north from Ft. Collins moving across the border of Wyoming and Northern Colorado....I was driving back from Denver in fact when I saw flashes from I-25 and immediately I was in chase lightning mode....amazing! It got really warm on highway 34 going into Greeley....

so let's backtrack (REWIND)

Well today I want to congratulate the graduates at University of Northern Colorado!
Big props on a day they shall never forget until about maybe 2 years.....that's how long since I've graduated.....oh well.....
As of now the laptop stand is now active and amazing! My friend Brian Leftwich helped put together the pieces that needed heavy machinery. Nick Vrudny helped out with the imagination. At first I was going to use pexiglass but have decided against and will use the pexiglass for another invention....now the stand itself is made of a thin wood with holes almost like a 70's wall panel before painting the walls white came into the future....This all custom to fit my laptop perfectly so there is no sliding around...

Today I ran over to Lowe's with my friend Nick Vrudny to brainstorm and end up purchasing the whole laptop stand kaboodle....I'm looking forward to putting together tonight some of the pieces, but tomorrow looks to be the drilling portion.
