intense cold air advection off the foot of the Rockies by 00z @ 700mb

Shep informed me of tornado risk 2% NE CO

Risk 2% NE CO

updated chances

FORECAST SOUNDINGS IN THE ZONE OF ANTICIPATED THUNDERSTORM FORMATION INDICATE STRONG DEEP LAYER SHEAR ALONG A 50-70 KT SOUTHWESTERLY MID-LEVEL JET STREAK...SUPPORTIVE OF A RISK FOR SUPERCELLS. AND...LARGE LOW-LEVEL HODOGRAPHS...PRIMARILY DUE TO INCREASING SPEEDS WITH HEIGHT...MAY PROMOTE A COUPLE OF TORNADOES...IN ADDITION TO THE RISK FOR DAMAGING WIND GUSTS/LARGE HAIL IN AN ENVIRONMENT WITH MIXED LAYER CAPE ON THE ORDER OF 1000 J/KG...PERHAPS LOCALLY AS HIGH AS 2000 J/KG.

outlook for Sat

So hopeful for that last local chase....based on the low developing over the weekend just north into WY & NE....strong surface level temperature advection which shows a strong cooling trend of the real fall season

I need a blog

well this is the beginning of my blogging experiences
I hope this will bring memories to all those that read
my blog.....I am going to put up chases for nxt year pretty
stoked....also gonna write whatever weather occurs from
my observations....hope you enjoy it!
Live it up everybody! peace out
